- *South Park* doubled down on its critical depiction of the Trump administration.

- The show's latest episode showed JD Vance as a "stupid" assistant.

- It also satirized Kristi Noem as a dog-shooting puppy murderer whose face melted off in the episode.**

The characters of *South Park* took a fantastical journey to Mar-a-Lago on Wednesday's episode, with the animated comedy again depicting Satan in Donald Trump's bed while taking aim at other members of the president's administration.

*South Park*'s latest installment saw longtime character Mr. Mackey embroiled in an Immigration and Customs Enforcement plot, with the South Park Elementary guidance counselor joining the agency after witnessing a recruitment video starring United States Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem.

"A few years ago, I had to put my puppy down by shooting it in the face, because sometimes doing what's important means doing what's hard," the fictional version of Noem says in the video. The clip then shows a shot of her shooting a small dog, a reference to Noem's 2024 memoir in which she admitted that she once shot her family's dog.**

The video continues with Noem advising, "Now, we'll ask the same determination of you. Because detaining and questioning people is never easy," she says, before the footage depicts her shooting other dogs, too.

Later, Mr. Mackey arrives at Mar-a-Lago via airplane, with Vice President JD Vance — shown as an extremely short bumbling assistant to the president — witnessing the arrival and telling Trump that he has arrived.

"I know, stupid. Let's go," Trump says, as he and Vance make their way to greet Mr. Mackey at the front gates.**

"What is his fantasy, boss?" the small Vance asks Trump, who kicks him aside after shouting, "Will you get out of here?!"

Later, Trump takes Mr. Mackey into the manor, undresses, and introduces him to Satan in his bedroom.

Vance interrupts the introduction, asking his boss if he'd like him "to apply the baby oil" to a *very* specific part of Satan.

The episode ends with Noem's face melting off and terrorizing people inside Mar-a-Lago, ahead of a shot of her entering a pet store and shooting all of the dogs inside.

When reached for comment, Department of Homeland Security Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin provided ** with the same statement it released Wednesday, in which the department thanked "*South Park* for drawing attention to ICE law enforcement recruitment." EW has also reached out to the White House for comment.

Wednesday's episode marked the latest in *South Park*'s ongoing depictions of the current presidential administration. The season 27 premiere drew backlash from the White House after it showed Trump attempting to seduce Satan.

"This show hasn't been relevant for over 20 years and is hanging on by a thread with uninspired ideas in a desperate attempt for attention," the White House's full statement about the premiere read. "President Trump has delivered on more promises in just six months than any other president in our country's history — and no fourth-rate show can derail President Trump's hot streak."

Co-creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone sarcastically apologized for the bit at Comic-Con, following their previous disdain for *South Park*'s delayed season 27 premiere amid Comedy Central's parent company Paramount's then-pending merger with Skydance.

CBS, also owned by Paramount, courted speculation that its abrupt cancellation of *The Late Show With Stephen Colbert* last month was a politically motivated move aimed at getting the Federal Communications Commission to approve the merger as Colbert is a longtime Trump critic.**
