- *The View* panelist Ana Navarro body-shamed former Superman Dean Cain over his ICE support.
- The* Lois & Clark: The Adventures of Superman* star previously said he would join ICE amid ongoing immigration raids.
- Navarro wrote on social media that Cain "should have joined a gym" instead of ICE.
*The View* might be on a summer hiatus, but Ana Navarro's mind is still at the Hot Topics table, as the Republican panelist took aim at former Superman Dean Cain's recent indication that he wanted to join the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency amid ongoing raids.
In response to a news article about 59-year-old Cain's intention to join ICE, which he spoke about Wednesday on Fox News, Navarro shared a brief criticism of Cain's body Thursday on her Instagram Story.
"This was Superman?" Navarro, 53, asked, alongside a photo of the *Lois & Clark: The Adventures of Superman* star and a headline touting that he was joining ICE.
"He should have joined a gym," Navarro suggested.

The actor's comments came amid ICE's sustained recruitment calls, which also recently involved the Department of Homeland Security drawing a response from the *South Park *animated series after the agency used an image from the show as a prompt for action.
"I will be sworn in as an ICE agent A.S.A.P.," Cain told Jesse Watters on Fox, explaining that he was already a sworn deputy sheriff as well as a police officer, per the *New York Times*.
Cain drew criticism earlier this year after he said in an interview with TMZ that he had issues with the latest *Superman* movie starring David Corenswet.

FCC chair talks 'consequences' for 'The View' after Joy Behar's Donald Trump criticism
"How woke is Hollywood going to make this character? How much is Disney going to change their Snow White? Why are they going to change these characters [to] exist for the times?" he asked.
The actor's response came after director James Gunn called his Superman iteration "an immigrant that came from other places and populated the country," and that the film represented "a story that says basic human kindness is a value and is something we have lost."
Navarro, who's from Nicaragua, has long been critical of Donald Trump's administration and its handling of immigration issues. In July, she even labeled tourists as racists if they visited Florida's Alligator Alcatraz migrant detention centers.
In response, White House spokesperson Abigail Jackson issued an exclusive statement to EW condemning Navarro's words.

"Every time you think Ana Navaro [sic] can't get any dumber, she proves you wrong," the statement read.
Jackson continued, "The real 'horrible human beings' are the violent illegal criminals being held at Alligator Alcatraz, including murderers like an illegal alien who slit the throat of an elderly woman in Florida and set her house on fire." (The statement linked to a post summarizing such alleged crimes, though EW couldn't immediately verify their validity.)

"No one who has any interest in facts or logic should pay attention to whatever Ana is spewing on TV because it's probably wrong or stupid or, most likely, both," the statement finished.**
The White House again criticized *The View* on Thursday, with spokesperson Taylor Rogers telling EW that current panelist Joy Behar and former cohost Rosie O'Donnell are "irrelevant losers," after the latter posted a lengthy TikTok message speculating that the talk show would be canceled amid political pressure. (EW reached out to representatives for Behar and O'Donnell for comment.)
