Following the success of *NCIS: Origins*, the enduring, hydra-headed *NCIS* franchise is gearing up for yet another spinoff, *NCIS: Tony & Ziva*.

As its title implies, the series will center on fan-favorite characters Tony DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly) and Ziva David (Cote de Pablo), a pair of agents who, after dancing around their romantic feelings for each other across numerous seasons of *NCIS, *are now co-parenting a child in Europe. But they soon find themselves framed in a cyber attack and pursued as fugitives by Interpol.

The project was first announced in February 2024, with Weatherly and de Pablo revealing that it had been gestating for several years.

"The world of Tony and Ziva (and daughter Tali) promises to be an action-packed roller coaster fueled by love, danger, tears and laughter," they said in a statement that offered a shoutout to "Tiva," the moniker bestowed upon the couple by fans.
