All it takes for daytime television queen Kelly Ripa to fully unravel is a poorly executed soccer match overseen by pesky referees.

The *Live With Kelly & Mark* star's latest TV venture with husband Mark Consuelos, *Running With the Wolves*, sees the duo navigating domestic life balanced with the trials of co-owning the Italian Campobasso soccer team. At the end of Tuesday's two-episode premiere, the couple is worn thin by a series of injuries and bad referee calls — enough so that Ripa has a mini meltdown while watching from the stands.

"We automatically had to put a young guy in," Consuelos says of the team's predicament, after injuries led to a lineup shift. The 54-year-old admitted that the game at hand is "not the kind of game you want to put in the hands of a 19-year-old" newcomer, which undoubtedly added to the tension.

"I don't like that our defender just got injured," Ripa said, with the camera showing her embracing the couple's daughter, Lola Consuelos, just before another player is injured on the field. "Oh, I'm going to vomit."

Later, in a confessional, Ripa admits, "I was shocked at how competitive I felt. There were a couple of times I wanted to tackle the refs."

One of the team's players agrees with her, as he also tells the cameras that the referees are "a bit too sensitive" during the match, while clips of turmoil between the players and officials flash onscreen.

Back in the stands, Ripa tells her companions that she's "not going to make it to the second half" of the match, but still applauds as the team heads to the locker room at the halfway mark.

Sensing his wife's discomfort, Consuelos observes that with "Kelly, you can tell she gets nervous, she's in and out of the booth a little bit. She says she's cold, but I think she's just getting a little nervous."

Confirming her husband's suspicions, Ripa is later seen taking a moment to herself.

"I had to come in, my nerves are starting to shut down," she says. "I'm using language that I should not be using!"

In April, Ripa teased her frustrations with the team's performance on an episode of *Live*, during which she told the audience about the ordeal.

"I put my scarf in my mouth because I was cursing so much that Mark was explaining to me that there were in fact children around and that I needed to stuff a sock in it," Ripa continued.

"I didn't have any socks, so I put my scarf in my face," she added. "After halftime, I refused to return to my seat because I'm nothing if not a sore loser."

*Running With the Wolves* is now streaming on ESPN+.
