*South Park* is giving fans a little flash of behind-the-scenes filmmaking.
Official social media accounts for the irreverent animated series showed two photos exposing how the crew achieved the controversial live-action shots depicting Donald Trump with a micropenis.
The photos reveal a camera crew surrounding the actor playing the 47th president, as well the show's co-creator Trey Parker leaning into the actor's groin area and holding up a single finger made up to look like, well, you know.
"A little behind the scenes," the caption of the post reads.

The scene in question was a live-action PSA endorsing Trump, showing an unsettlingly lifelike recreation of the president wandering through a desert and stripping away his clothes until he's completely naked, writhing in the sand. Eventually, a finger-sized, uh, *something* rises between his legs with cartoon eyes and a mouth.
"I'm Donald J. Trump, and I endorse this message," Trump's member says before the narrator describes it as "teeny-tiny."
That scene capped *South Park*'s season 27 premiere, which depicted a Satan-loving Trump suing the titular Colorado town for $5 billion after its inhabitants protest being forced to let Jesus into their schools (literally).
Seeing live-action behind-the-scenes photography may come as a surprise, as the PSA segment appeared to use AI in order to accurately render Trump's face and physique in great detail, and the episode's credits list Deep Voodoo as a provider of visual effects. It's possible, however, that AI was only used to enhance the fake Trump's features rather than to create entire shots from scratch.
The episode received a scathing response from the White House. "The left's hypocrisy truly has no end — for years they have come after South Park for what they labeled as 'offense' content, but suddenly they are praising the show," White House spokesperson Taylor Rogers told ** in a statement, adding that "just like the creators of South Park, the left has no authentic or original content" to share.
"This show hasn't been relevant for over 20 years and is hanging on by a thread with uninspired ideas in a desperate attempt for attention," the statement continued. "President Trump has delivered on more promises in just six months than any other president in our country's history — and no fourth-rate show can derail President Trump's hot streak."

At a panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2025, Parker sarcastically responded to the controversy. "We're terribly sorry," he said before dropping the microphone into his lap.
Co-creator Matt Stone also said that they fought with their producers over blurring out the graphic images of Trump's nether region, and ultimately found a loophole to leave it uncensored by putting cartoon eyes on it. "That was a whole conversation with a lot of grown-up people for about four f---ing days," Stone explained.
A new teaser hints that the show has no plans to let up on the Trump-Satan storyline when it returns with new episodes on Aug. 6.
The *South Park *season 27 premiere is now streaming on Paramount+.
