You can't keep a good queen down — or away from the catwalk — as **'s exclusive sneak peek at the next new episode of *Project Runway* proves.

In EW's preview (above) from the next installment of the return of supermodel Heidi Klum's fashion-themed competition series, contestant Ethan Mundt gags fellow designers by sashaying to set in full drag as *RuPaul's Drag Race* alter-ego, Utica.

As the contestants gather backstage on runway day, Mundt as Utica storms out from the wings in a head-to-toe black catsuit and a full mug of makeup, exclaiming, "She's a designer!"

Utica, who competed on season 13 of *RuPaul's Drag Race* and finished the Emmy-winning competition series in sixth place, drew a shocked response from fellow contestant Jesus Estrada, who exclaimed, "Oh my God" while their mouth hung open in awe over Utica's entrance.

"She's a designer, a model, *and* a drag queen," Utica said through a huge smile, while designer Madeline Malenfant looked upward to marvel at Utica's look and towering height as she stood among the cast.

Later, in a confessional, Mundt reflected on the power of bringing Utica to *Project Runway *after the designers were split into teams for a challenge.

"My team is struggling, and it's like, Utica's all about light, uplift, and truly that showstopper energy," Mundt said. "So, if there's anything that's going to get my team on track to be a showstopper, it's her!"

Before joining *Project Runway *season 21, Mundt's 2021* Drag Race* run hinted at the designer's prowess in making clothes.

As Utica, Mundt impressed the *Drag Race* judges with an impeccable ability to make clothing for the runway and beyond, particularly excelling at the design challenges that wowed the judges, like a jaw-dropping puffer jacket gown for the Bag Ball runway challenge and for a fabulous makeover look for eventual season winner, Symone.

Utica's *Drag Race* elimination is one of the most memorable in the show's her-story. After crashing out during the fan-favorite roast challenge, Utica ended her set by slyly requesting that RuPaul stand up to show off the head judge's decadent fashions — a clear nod to many contestants who've playfully acknowledged that Mama Ru sometimes changes into more comfortable pants under the judging table. The move elicited not one, but *two* middle fingers from Mama Ru, and placed Utica in the bottom where she lost a lipsync to eventual winner, Symone.
