Lizzo is showing off her jeans, making fun of Sydney Sweeney and promoting new music all at the same time.

On Wednesday, the Grammy-winner teased a new single, "I'm Goin' In Till October," with a reference to Sweeney's widely criticized American Eagle ad campaign, "Sydney Sweeney Has Great Jeans." The video — which name-drops the *Euphoria* star — sees Lizzo hosing down a Porsche while clad in torn denim.

While twerking and enjoying the spray, she raps, "No kizzy, he ain't got no business being with me / Fat ass, pretty face with the titties / Bitch, I got good jeans like I'm Sydney."

She playfully captioned the video, "Lizzo's got Good Jeans."

Lizzo also addressed the controversy in a separate video posted on Monday, which begins with a snippet from a Fox News broadcast. In the clip, a commentator laments the backlash to Sweeney's ad, complaining, "We're over this woke agenda. We're over the Lizzos, we're over the Dylan Mulvaneys. If this was a 300-pound non-binary person, they would be applauding her." (Mulvaney, 28, is a transgender influencer.)

The video then sees Lizzo respond — not with words, but by recreating a part of Sweeney's ad, suggestively zipping up her jeans while rapping, "F--- outta my face / Hoe, give me some space / It's way too hot up in here / I'm sweatin' out of my lace."

She then leaves the couch, bringing the camera over to an award shelf displaying her multiple Grammys, a Moon Person and more. "Did this for the culture / That Left, Right, and that bend it over," she continued. "Got SZA and Doja / I ate that, now let's do it over."

American Eagle's decision to pair Sweeney — who has blonde hair and blue eyes — with the tagline "has great jeans/genes" has prompted serious outrage. The most criticized promo features the actress reclining on a couch and fastening her jeans as she murmurs, "Genes are passed down from parents to offspring, often determining traits like hair color, personality, and even eye color. My genes are blue."  Then a male narrator adds, "Sydney Sweeney has great jeans."

As the campaign sent social media into a frenzy, Lizzo made note of the situation on Instagram, reposing a photo of herself in all denim with the caption, "My jeans are black."

While some have accused the campaign of dog-whistling white supremacy, conservative pundits have slammed the outrage as an overreaction from liberals. President Donald Trump has weighed in as well, publicly backing the ad only after learning that Sweeney is a registered Republican.

"She's a registered Republican? Oh, now I love her ad!" Trump quipped while speaking to reporters in Allentown, Pa. on Sunday. "You'd be surprised at how many people are Republicans. That's one I wouldn't have known but I'm glad you told me that. If Sydney Sweeney is a registered Republican, I think her ad is fantastic!"

He heaped on more praise via Truth Social, writing, "Sydney Sweeney, a registered Republican, has the 'HOTTEST' ad out there. It's for American Eagle, and the jeans are 'flying off the shelves.' Go get 'em Sydney!"

He added, "The tide has seriously turned — Being WOKE is for losers, being Republican is what you want to be. Thank you for your attention to this matter!"

While Sweeney has yet to formally address the accusations that the American Eagle ad espouses eugenics ideology, the brand issued a statement last Friday, after a week of online discourse.

"'Sydney Sweeney Has Great Jeans' is and always was about the jeans. Her jeans, her story," reads the statement posted on Aug. 1. "We'll continue to celebrate how everyone wears their AE jeans with confidence, their way. Great jeans look good on everyone."
