Kelley Mack, an actress and producer best known for playing Addy in season 9 of *The Walking Dead*, has died. She was 33.

Mack died Saturday in her birthplace of Cincinnati after a battle with glioma of the central nervous system, her family said in a statement.

"It is with indelible sadness that we are announcing the passing of our dear Kelley," a separate announcement shared Tuesday on Mack's Instagram account read. "Such a bright, fervent light has transitioned to the beyond, where we all eventually must go."**

The statement, written by the actress' younger sister, continued, "Kelley passed peacefully on Saturday evening with her loving mother Kristen and steadfast aunt Karen present. Kelley has already come to many of her loved ones in the form of various butterflies 🦋 ❤️. She will be missed by so many to depths that words cannot express."**

Mack's sister concluded by telling fans and well wishers that the star "would want you all to know how much she loves you." She concluded, "And as her sister, I want you all to know how brave that tough SOB was, especially when she decided to make the leap to be reunited with God. I'm so f---ing proud of her."

Born Kelley Klebenow on July 10, 1992, Mack first developed a love for storytelling from a young age, after receiving a mini video camera as a birthday gift. She graduated from Hinsdale Central High School in 2010 and earned her bachelor's degree in Cinematography from the Dodge College of Film at Chapman University in 2014. Mack had lived and worked in Los Angeles ever since.

In total, the star was credited with 35 acting roles and 5 producer credits throughout her career. Her first on-screen credit came in the 2019 short film *Violet*, which she followed up with her role as Hilltop Colony resident Addy on the ninth season of AMC's hit zombie show, *The Walking Dead*.

Other memorable TV stints include playing Penelope Jacobs in season 8 of *Chicago Med*, and on Fox's *9-1-1*.

On the film side, she starred as Alice in *Broadcast Signal* *Intrusion* in 2021, and as Wilda in *Delicate Arch* in 2024. In the upcoming film *Universal*, she's credited in the role of Ricky, and also serves as executive producer on the project, which hails from writer-director Stephen Portland. She also played Tina in *Mr. Manhattan*, and starred in and produced several shorts.

Mack also did notable voiceover work, including as the voice match for Hailee Steinfeld's Gwen Stacy in the Oscar-winning animated film *Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse*, a role which she reprised in the 2024 Hyundai Ionic television commercial. Other voiceover works includes stints with Budweiser, Salvation Army, Credit Karma, Herbal Essences, and more.

Additionally, Mack also appeared in numerous commercials throughout her career, including for Dr. Pepper Fansville, Dairy Queen, Ross, and Chick-fil-a.

Mack is survived by her parents, Kristen and Lindsay; sister Kathryn; brother (and fellow actor) Parker; grandparents Lois and Larry; and her boyfriend, Logan.
