In video footage from the event, Perry can be seen greeting a group of young fans and giving them little shakers, seemingly for them to perform with her. However, she quickly noticed that one fan, named McKenna, appeared to be a bit overwhelmed by the entire experience.
"Let's practice. You got this," Perry told McKenna. "And let's breathe. Let's breathe. You got it. You got it. Ready?"

Perry is currently on the North American leg of her global Lifetimes Tour. She is scheduled to perform at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Canada, tomorrow evening. **
The incident comes less than three weeks after Perry experienced her own terrifying incident when the butterfly prop that she was riding above the crowd suddenly plummeted several feet without warning at her San Francisco show. **
Perry held onto the insect during the prop malfunction, briefly gazing up at the contraption holding it together before continuing to sing the track.
