Denise Richards' relationship with estranged husband Aaron Phypers continues to deteriorate amid their acrimonious divorce battle.
The Lost Hills Sheriff's Department responded to a call around 4:40 p.m. on Sunday to the Calabasas home owned by Richards that Phypers currently shares with his parents and brother but found "no evidence of criminal activity," a rep for the Department confirmed to **. Richards had allegedly arrived unannounced to the home prior to the call seeking to retrieve her dogs from Phypers. The *Wild Things *and *Real Housewives of Beverly Hills *star was granted a temporary restraining order (TRO) against Phypers on July 17, meaning the visit would have violated those terms had Phypers been home.
Brett Berman, Richards' divorce attorney, told PEOPLE on Monday that Richards "did not violate" the RTO because she made the visit "after confirming that Mr. Phypers was not present in her home." Berman additionally claimed that after retrieving some of her dogs, Richards learned that "Mr. Phypers had put down one of her other dogs without her knowledge or permission."**

The source also contested Richards' claim that she ensured Phypers wasn't home before paying a visit to her residence. They alleged that Richards began screaming and banging on the door about her dogs, which prompted Phypers to leave through a side door.

Richards, 54 was granted the TRO last month after she accused Phypers, 52, of abuse "throughout" their six-year marriage. In court documents, Richards claimed that Phypers would "frequently violently choke me, violently squeeze my head with both hands, tightly squeeze my arms, violently slap me in my face and head, aggressively slam my head into the bathroom towel rack, threaten to kill me, hold me down with his knee on my back to the point where I would have to plead with him to get off me so that he would not kill me and hack into my laptop and phone and download all of my text messages."
Phypers denied the accusations in a statement to PEOPLE: "Let me be unequivocally clear: I have never physically or emotionally abused Denise — or anyone. These accusations are completely false and deeply hurtful."
In a separate set of court documents filed July 28, Richards accused Phypers of violating the TRO by holding onto a laptop and several cell phones belonging to Richards, from which he began "disseminating private information."

Phypers again denied Richards' claims.
"I absolutely deny the false allegations that I violated the restraining order or stole Denise's laptop or cell phones," he said in another statement to PEOPLE. "These claims are not only untrue — they are being weaponized to damage my reputation and distract from the truth,"**
Richards requested that the court compel Phypers to both "return to me all pictures, recordings and cell phones of mine" and "be prohibited from using, delivering, copying, printing, or disclosing any text messages, emails, photos, notes or other content from my cell phone or laptop or any other of my electronic devices."
While Richards new reality show, *Denise Richards & Her Wild Things* — which costarred Phypers — will not return in the wake of the couple's divorce, the actress was recently spotted filming new episodes of *RHOBH*. Richards departed the main cast of the series in 2020, but made several appearances on season 13 in a guest role in 2024.**
