Jamie Lee Curtis, for one, is rooting for Pamela Anderson and Liam Neeson.
The *Freakier Friday* star was asked to comment on the rumored romance between the stars of the rebooted *Naked Gun*, who PEOPLE has reported are dating after working together.
"With all due respect to pop culture, if love has found its way into that relationship, God bless them both," Curtis said in an interview posted Monday on VT's TikTok, before issuing a warning. "Leave them the f--- alone! And let them like each other, because both of them have had hardship, and they're both beautiful human — makes me cry."
She teared up before continuing.
"They're beautiful human beings," Curtis said, "and if they have actually found an intimate love with each other, we should all go to bed tonight feeling better," she said.
The actress costarred with Anderson in the 2024 movie *The Last Showgirl*, for which both were nominated for Screen Actors Guild Awards in the categories of supporting actress for (Curtis) and lead actress (Anderson). The *Baywatch* alum was also nominated for a Golden Globe.

"She was fantastic!" Curtis said. "But she's a beautiful human being."
Curtis noted that Neeson, the Oscar-nominated star of movies including *Schindler's List*, *Taken*, and *Love Actually*, became a widower in 2009. His wife of 15 years, celebrated actress Natasha Richardson, died in 2009 after suffering a traumatic brain injury in a skiing accident. She was 45.
"And he also suffered an unimaginable loss, so young and, you know, he's had a really hard go of it," Curtis continued. "So if, in fact, these people have hard-launched," — which one of the younger hosts told her they had done — "then wish them the best and leave them alone."

Anderson and Neeson had "a budding romance in the early stages. It's sincere, and it's clear they're smitten with each other," according to PEOPLE's source.
Neeson himself raved about his leading lady in an ** cover story published last month.
"She embraced and embodied the silliness, the quirkiness, and the intensity — and a little sad quality in her, too, which was adorable," he said. "She's got that feistiness and innate sense of humor… And very easy on the eyes, too."
Meanwhile, Anderson told EW in May that Neeson was "mysterious," "inspiring," and a "true gentleman." She said that, during shooting, she "invited him and his assistant over for romantic dinners with me and my assistant so our relationship stayed 'professionally romantic' during filming."**
