Tom Holland is showing off his sleek new threads.

The *Uncharted* star debuted the first clear look at his latest Spider-Man costume for his upcoming superhero movie, *Spider-Man: Brand New Day,* on the film's social media pages on Saturday.

In a short teaser video, Holland first appears far away in the dark, his back to the camera as warehouse doors open. The actor jumps around to hype himself up, prepping for what seems to be the big unveiling.

"We ready?" he asks before walking away, grinning.

The video comes a day after another short teaser showing a brief glimpse of Holland's new duds dropped.

The combination of the two teaser clips revealed that Spidey's latest suit will have a much larger spider insignia than most of Holland's previous outfits, and that the lines of black webbing appear more raised than in previous films. Saturday's clip also clarified that the blue sections of the costume are a darker shade of the color — and more reflective — than earlier versions.

When does 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day' come out? All about Tom Holland's return (and which Marvel characters are joining him)

Andrew Garfield says he'd love to play Spider-Man again, but the project has to be 'very weird'

*Brand New Day* marks Holland's seventh film as Peter Parker since he debuted as the character in *Captain America: Civil War* in 2016. He has starred in three solo movies — 2017's *Homecoming*, 2019's *Far From Home*, and 2021's *No Way Home* — and has also appeared in the two most recent *Avengers* crossover movies, 2018's *Infinity War* and 2019's *Endgame*.

When we last saw him in *No Way Home*, Spider-Man sacrificed his identity so that everyone in the world would forget about the existence of Peter Parker (to save the multiverse, of course). The film ended with a somber scene in which Peter crossed paths with his girlfriend, MJ (Zendaya), and his BFF, Ned Leeds (Jacob Batalon), both of whom now have zero memory of him whatsoever.

The memory reset also stripped Peter of his access to high-tech resources from Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) and the rest of his Avengers allies, thus forcing the wall-crawler to return to his down-on-his-luck working-class origins. At the end of the movie, Peter swung around Manhattan in a new suit that looked a lot like the one teased in the latest *Brand New Day* teaser, though we didn't get a clear enough glimpse of it in *No Way Home* to make a proper comparison.

Holland also teased the movie in a pre-recorded video message at CinemaCon in April. "I know we left you with a massive cliffhanger at the end of *No Way Home*, so *Spider Man: Brand New Day* is a fresh start. It is exactly that," the actor said. "That's all I can say."

*Brand New Day* will also star Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle/The Punisher. The character previously appeared on Netflix's *Daredevil* series before getting his own show on the streamer, and recently returned in Disney+'s revival *Daredevil: Born Again*.

*Stranger Things* star Sadie Sink is also set to appear in the film as an undisclosed character, and Zendaya and Batalon are both signed on to reprise their roles.

*Brand New Day* will be directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, who previously helmed *Short Term 12* and Marvel's *Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings*. It will be the first MCU Spidey film not directed by Jon Watts.

*Spider-Man: Brand New Day* swings into theaters on July 31, 2026.
