Neal McDonough would like a second take.

After making headlines for saying on a recent podcast that Hollywood "completely turned on me" for refusing to kiss anyone other than his wife, the veteran actor and his better half walked back those remarks in a joint interview with TMZ.

"We want to say thank you, Hollywood," Ruvé McDonough said, expressing gratitude for her husband's success in showbiz. "I don't like how people are saying that Hollywood turned its back on Neal. No, it didn't. The right people found Neal and put him in the right place. We want to say thank you, Hollywood. We want to continue doing incredible films with Neal, giving the right messages. We don't want to say Hollywood turned. Guided us to where we are is what Hollywood did, and we want to say, 'Thank you, Hollywood.'"**

Neal, whose screen credits include popular shows like *Yellowstone* and *Suits*, agreed. "Everyone talks about that stuff that happened all those years ago," he said. "If it weren't for that, we wouldn't be here. Those were stepping stones, and it made our relationship closer."

The reframing came in the wake of Neal appearing on the *Nothing Left Unsaid* podcast and saying that he'd been fired from an unnamed TV show after refusing to film an intimate scene with a costar.

"When I wouldn't do it, and they couldn't understand it, Hollywood just completely turned on me," he said. "They wouldn't let me be part of the show anymore. And for two years, I couldn't get a job, and I lost everything you could possibly imagine. Not just houses and material things, but your swagger, your cool, who you are, your identity, everything."

He also explained what had been behind his decision. "I always had in my contracts that I wouldn't kiss another woman on screen," he said on the podcast. "My wife didn't have any problem with it. It was me, really, who had a problem. I was like, 'Yeah, I don't want to put you through it. I know we're going to start having kids, and I don't want to put my kids through it.'"

The couple now share five children, whom they also mentioned in their joint interview. "If they were to see Dad kissing another woman, it would hurt them," Ruvé said. "When Neal swears on film, which he rarely does, we would tell our kids when they were younger, 'Oh, no, that's a dub, that's a voiceover. Dad did not say S-H-I-T,' because we don't swear."

She also reiterated their good fortune, saying, "We cannot explain and express how blessed we are, how happy we are. Everything that's going on, talking about how Hollywood dissed Neal and whatnot — no. Everything that's happened has brought us closer to where we are now."

Neal's other screen credits include TV's *Band of Brothers*, *Arrow, Desperate Housewives,* and* The Flash*, plus films like *Minority Report* and *The Last Rodeo*. He costarred in the latter film with his wife.**

Jimmy Kimmel is telling everyone that he wants Stephen Colbert's *Late Show* to win an Emmy this year, even though his own *Jimmy Kimmel Live* is also nominated for the same award.

The comedian has rented a billboard, at the intersection of La Cienega and Santa Monica boulevards in West Hollywood, on which he declares, "I'm voting for Stephen."

The nominees in the category of Outstanding Talk Series this year are Colbert, Kimmel, and *The Daily Show* on Comedy Central. Though Colbert's show has been nominated for 33 Emmys in all, across various categories, since 2017, it's never won.

EW has reached out to reps for Colbert and Kimmel for comment.

Kimmel's show of support comes two weeks after Colbert announced on-air that CBS' *Late Show* franchise, which David Letterman began in 1993, will end next year.

The network said its decision to pull the plug on the franchise was "purely a financial one" and that it wasn't "related in any way to the show's performance, content or other matters happening at Paramount." It continued, "We are proud that Stephen called CBS home," officials said in a statement. "He and the broadcast will be remembered in the pantheon of greats that graced late night television."**

Critics, however, have called out the timing of the announcement, which came in the same month that Paramount Global, the parent company of Colbert's network, agreed to pay $16 million to President Donald Trump over an interview with former Vice President Kamala Harris that aired on *60 Minutes* in November.

Trump has long disliked late-night hosts' jokes about his administration and, since the cancellation, has said that he's hearing "a strong word" that Kimmel will be canceled next, then *The Tonight Show*'s Jimmy Fallon.**

But Trump has denied that he was behind the decision to end Colbert.

"Everybody is saying that I was solely responsible for the firing of Stephen Colbert from CBS, '*Late Night"* he wrote on social media. "That is not true! The reason he was fired was a pure lack of TALENT, and the fact that this deficiency was costing CBS $50 Million Dollars a year in losses — And it was only going to get WORSE!"

At the same time, Kimmel and *The Daily Show*'s Jon Stewart are among those who have come to Colbert's defense, with their words and even cameos on his show.

Pamela Anderson isn't the only one showing off their singing chops in *The Naked Gun*.

Liam Neeson steps behind the mic — his first time, apparently, in a professional recording studio, as he says mid-song — for the end credits track "My Sweet Beth." The ballad is a tribute from his character, Frank Drebin Jr., to a "very special lady," as he sings: Anderson's Beth Davenport. Over the course of the film, the two strike up a relationship as he investigates her brother's death.

The tune, director Akiva Schaffer reveals to **, was a "last-minute idea." He was preparing to show a final edit of the movie to some 90 friends and family members — but one thing was missing.

"I always knew I needed to do something in the credits, and finally we were picture-locked and we were in the edit room and I just [recorded the song] into my laptop, put it in the movie, and two hours later we screened it and it did really well," he explains. "Then I replaced [my vocals] with Liam… I'm very pleased that we got that in at the buzzer, that we snuck in there."

Neeson says it was indeed a "surprise addition" — one final gag he was down for.

"I thought, *yeah, sure*," the actor recalls. "It's not supposed to be Frank Sinatra or Tony Bennett, so we had a bit of fun with it."

How can one not with lyrics like: "Beth, ooooh / Top-shelf curves, and brains to boot / And boots that would top my brain's top-10 list / Aboot boots, and the curvy brains that bought them / Also, breasts / My sweet Beth."**

"My Sweet Beth" isn't the first time Neeson has sung for a movie — he also did in 1986's *Duet for One*.

"Much to my embarrassment, I sang to Julie Andrews," he says. "I played Julie Andrews' lover, and I'm a third-rate British club singer. I sang Tom Jones' classic 'Green Green Grass of Home' in front of Julie Andrews. Terrified, f‑‑‑ing, terrified."**

Turns out, he won't be back.

Arnold Schwarzenegger's action series *FUBAR* will not be returning for a third season at Netflix, * *can confirm. A source adds that the streamer is proud of the work that producers, cast, and crew put into the show.

The series, which first debuted on Netflix in 2023, marked the first leading role for the actor on a scripted television show. The first season was a ratings hit, according to the streamer, but the second season apparently had a much quieter debut in June. (According to *Variety*, season 2 made Nielsen's streaming originals top 10 only for the week of June 16, and fell off thereafter.)

Per the logline, *FUBAR* follows a father and daughter who learn that they've each secretly been working as CIA Operatives for years. The two then realize their entire relationship has been a lie and that they truly don't know one another at all. Forced to team up as partners, the series tackles universal family dynamics against a global backdrop of spies, action, and humor.

In a statement ahead of the series premiere, creator, showrunner, and executive producer Nick Santora called the show "by far, the most surreal project of my career." He continued, "I grew up watching Arnold Schwarzenegger films — I'd hit my dad up for a few bucks so I could race to the movies and see the biggest star in the world on the big screen — so creating the first scripted television project for Arnold is unbelievably exciting for me."**

Santora added, "The thing I always marveled at was how Schwarzenegger could be funny while still kicking ass ... that's why I wanted *FUBAR* to be a hysterical, CIA-spy comedy mixed with heart-stopping action! And it is all that — and more. I'd love to elaborate with more details, but, sorry, it's classified."

In addition to Schwarzenegger, *FUBAR* also starred Monica Barbaro, Milan Carter, Fortune Feimster, Travis Van Winkle, Fabiana Udenio, Aparna Brielle, Guy Burnet, Andy Buckley, Carrie-Anne Moss, Jay Baruchel, Barbara Eve Harris, and Scott Thompson.

In addition to Santora, Schwarzenegger, Adam Higgs, Scott Sullivan, Phil Abraham, Amy Pocha, Seth Cohen and Skydance's David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Matt Thunell served as additional executive producers. Skydance Television produced.

While FUBAR wasn't so lucky, Netflix has renewed several shows of late, including: *Wednesday, Untamed, Tires, Ransom Canyon, Virgin River, Bridgerton, Forever*,* Four Seasons, The Diplomat, My Life with the Walter Boys, Survival of the Thickest, Geek Girl*, *Lincoln Lawyer*, *Sweet Magnolias*, *Devil May Cry*, *Beauty in Black*, *Nobody Wants This*, *A Man on the Inside*, and *The Vince Staples Show.***

Jeannie Seely, the Grammy-winning singer of "Don't Touch Me" and country music icon, has died. She was 85.

Seely died peacefully Friday afternoon at Summit Medical Center in Hermitage, Tennessee, as a result of complications from an intestinal infection, her reps confirmed to **.

Since last fall, Seely had been battling a number of health issues, including undergoing multiple back surgeries this spring for vertebrae repairs, as well as two emergency abdominal surgeries.

Nevertheless, Seely performed at the Grand Ole Opry earlier this year on Feb. 22, which marked her 5,397th Opry performance, more than any other artist in the institution's 100-year history.

Known as "Miss Country Soul" for her soul-inspired vocals, Seely first broke through with the 1966 single "Don't Touch Me," which rose to No. 2 on the U.S. Hot Country Songs chart. Other charting songs included "A Wanderin' Man" (1967), "I'll Love You More (Than You'll Need)" (1968), and her duet with Jack Greene "Wish I Didn't Have to Miss You," the latter of which peaked at No. 2 on the US country chart in 1969.

The singer-songwriter was born on July 6, 1940, in Titusville, Pennsylvania, and was raised on a farm outside of nearby Townville. She first became interested in country music while listening to her family's big Philco console radio, which she constantly had tuned to the Grand Ole Opry on radio station WSM 650. She first started singing herself at age 11, as part of a Saturday morning radio show, and by the time she was 16, she'd graduated to performing on a local TV station.

She eventually moved to Los Angeles and got her foot in the door by working as a secretary at Liberty and Imperial Records in Hollywood. There, she started writing songs for Four Star Music and became a regular performer on the TV series *Hollywood Jamboree*. Her songwriting eventually landed her a recording contract with Challenge Records, which resulted in a few regional hits and a West Coast tour.

In 1964, Seely received the Most Promising Female Artist award from an organization that would later become known as the Academy of Country Music. Shortly thereafter, she moved to Nashville and signed with Monument Records, where her career really took off with the aforementioned "Don't Touch Me." With the song, she won the Grammy for Best Country & Western Vocal Performance - Female, becoming only the third female country artist to receive a Grammy at the time.

She was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry in Sept. 1967, and was the first woman to regularly host Opry segments. From there, Seely and Greene began their very successful duet partnership in the late '60s, and toured together for the next decade. But, she continued to release singles on her own as well, including the popular "Can I Sleep in Your Arms" (1973) and "Lucky Ladies" (1974).**

In the '90s and early aughts, Seely released several more solo albums, including a Christmas album in 1994 called *Number One Christmas*. Her final studio album was 2020's *An American Classic*. In total, she released 17 studio albums, four compilation albums, one soundtrack album, four music videos, and 36 singles.

In addition to her recording career, Seely also appeared in the Willie Nelson film *Honeysuckle Rose*, played Mrs. Jenkins in the 2002 film *Changing Hearts*, and she starred in stage productions including *Always*, *Patsy Cline;* *The Best Little Whorehouse In Texas;* *Could It Be Love;* and more. She also published her own book in 1988 titled *Pieces of a Puzzled Mind*.

Seely is survived by numerous friends, family members, and her special cat, Corrie. Her husband, Gene Ward, died of cancer in December. Saturday's Grand Ole Opry will be dedicated to Seely.

- Sarah Jessica Parker reacted to the ending of *And Just Like That* on Instagram: "There will never be better friends."

- Cynthia Nixon said she and her costars "will always be a part of each other's lives."

- Kristin Davis also expressed her disappointment at the show's conclusion: "I am profoundly sad."

The *And Just Like That* cast is honoring the show following the announcement of its conclusion.

Sarah Jessica Parker posted a lengthy tribute to Carrie Bradshaw and her collaborators on the *Sex and the City* sequel series shortly after Friday's announcement that *AJLT* will end with season 3, which has two episodes left in its run on HBO Max.

Parker's Instagram caption, which accompanied a three-and-a-half-minute slideshow of images spanning the franchise's 27 years, began with a string of individual words separated by line breaks (resembling a poem, perhaps in honor of Carrie's writerly ambitions). Parker celebrated her character as one who crossed "streets," "avenues," and "Rubicons, so it seemed," as well as a protagonist who "broke hearts," "heels," and "habits."

The actress went on to say how Carrie, who she first played in 1998 when the original *SATC* debuted on HBO, "Devoted herself to hats, books, shoes, friends and the promise of a new day in her beloved city and the people she treasured most."

Parker continued, "She has worn shame, pride, honor, optimism and literally countless dresses, skirts, tutus. Held onto hands, hopes and the very best of people."

The actress went on to honor Carrie's friends, who were played by Cynthia Nixon, Kim Cattrall (who declined to return for *AJLT* save for a brief cameo) and Kristin Davis, as well as the sequel series' new characters, played by Sarita Choudhury and Nicole Ari Parker.

"Miranda, Samantha and Charlotte, there will never be better friends and what great fortune for Carrie to come to know and love Seema and LTW, most divine new connections," she wrote. "Carrie Bradshaw has dominated my professional heartbeat for 27 years. I think I have loved her most of all."

Parker also paid tribute to *Sex and the City*'s fan base for their continual support of Carrie. "I know others have loved her just as I have," she wrote. "Been frustrated, condemned and rooted for her. The symphony of all those emotions has been the greatest soundtrack and most consequential companion. Therefore the most sentimental and profound gratitude and lifetime of debt. To you all."

The actress reiterated showrunner Michael Patrick King's announcement that the *AJLT*'s creative team agreed that it was time for the show to conclude while crafting season 3. "MPK and I together recognized, as we have in the past, this chapter complete," Parker said. "AJLT was all joy, adventure, the greatest kind of hard work alongside the most extraordinary talent of 380 that includes all the brilliant actors who joined us. I am better for every single day I spent with you."

Parker concluded, "It will be forever before I forget. The whole thing. Thank you all. I love you so. I hope you love these final two episodes as much as we all do."

Nixon also shared a farewell message on Instagram. "I can't believe our wild beautiful And Just Like That ride is almost over," she wrote. "It has been such a delight from start to finish. I will miss working with these people everyday SO incredibly much but know we will always be a part of each other's lives. Get ready for a lot more carousels in the weeks to come! And don't miss these last few episodes: surprises in store!"

Additionally, Nixon reposted Parker's video on her Instagram Stories. "I could watch this again and again," the actress behind Miranda Hobbes wrote. "Thank you @sarahjessicaparker (& our gorgeous cast and crew!) for the quarter century of memories and friendships."

Davis also posted a shorter message about her disappointment that the show is ending. "I am profoundly sad," the actress behind Charlotte York wrote on Instagram. "I love our whole beautiful cast and crew. 400 artisans working so hard on our show with deep love. And to our loyal fans, we love you forever and ever."

In a follow-up comment on her post, Davis wrote, "Thank you to you all !!! You hold me up and i do not take it for granted !!!"

The original *Sex and the City* ran for six seasons on HBO. The franchise continued with two theatrical movies in 2008 and 2010 before *AJLT* premiered on HBO Max in 2021. Despite the franchise's repeated revivals, King's announcement of *AJLT*'s conclusion indicated that the entire *SATC* multimedia project is finished, not just this particular iteration. "The ongoing storytelling of the *Sex And The City* universe is coming to an end," he wrote in a statement.*****And Just Like That* airs Thursdays on HBO Max.

Utica Queen — also known as fashion designer Ethan Mundt — has officially slayed the two most esteemed runways on mainstream television.

After wowing RuPaul and the panel of* RuPaul's Drag Race* judges with her impeccable design challenge looks on season 13 of the Emmy-winning reality competition series, Mundt steamrolled the competition on the *Project Runway* season 21 premiere.

Amid a tense judging that saw contestant Antonio Estrada clash with Heidi Klum, Law Roach, Nina Garcia, and Christian Siriano on Thursday's two-part premiere, Mundt was named the season's first challenge winner thanks to a jaw-dropping design inspired by Disney villains.**

"Your model is actually quite petite, however, she felt grandiose," Garcia observed of Mundt's creation, which included black velvety material draped in a shroud over the model. "It was like this dark shadow had just slithered through the stage. It wasn't just the clothes, it was a feeling."

Klum observed, that "it's giving me villain, but it's not giving me costume," and that she could see someone wearing just the jumpsuit underneath the flowing trimmings.

"I feel like if you don't have this cape on, you wear this jumpsuit underneath. It's modern. It's cool. I'd want to wear it," the supermodel told Mundt.

Roach, who's now a judge on *RuPaul's Drag Race* as well, had some critiques, though, including "little things I noticed on the cape" and "a little bit of the hem" that was "puckering," though he commended Mundt for "such a beautiful job" in the end.

After deliberation, Mundt was named the winner, leading to an enthusiastic reaction.

"Crown me, baby, as the queen that's on top this week!" Mundt said.

One contestant, however, wasn't as pleased. Returning competitor Jesus Estrada — Antonio's twin — said he was "so shocked right now" in the aftermath of their team's victory after Roach said he "hated" Estrada's look.

"It feels like I'm not in the top. Even though I should be celebrating being in the top, I feel a little attacked. I'm gagged," Jesus admitted. "But, I think it's very critical for me moving forward to really listen to what the judges have to say."

Prior to competing on *Project Runway*, Mundt sashayed into the *Drag Race* Werk Room as Utica, and ultimately finished season 13 in sixth place. Utica excelled particularly in design challenges, constructing a stunning puffer jacket gown for the Bag Ball runway, and later won praise for dressing eventual season winner Symone across the series' fan-favorite makeover episode.

*Project Runway *continues Thursdays on Freeform, with episodes later streaming on Hulu and Disney+.

"There's been plenty of movies that come out that I go, 'Ah, I was supposed to be in that,'" Kelly said Thursday on *The Pat McAfee Show. *"Or, 'Oh, I did auditions for that.' Like *Sinners*, I was supposed to be in that."

McAfee then inquired as to which part Kelly was meant to play. The musician replied, "The vampire. They had me set up to do the auditions — it's the vampire, the one that's in the house, so he's the second vampire, and the guy comes and he eats the family up."

Kelly seemed to be referencing the character of Bert, played by rock star Peter Dreimanis in the movie, who is turned into a vampire by Jack O'Connell's Remmick.

But, Kelly said, "In the audition he has to say the N-word, and I just wouldn't do it."

The Destiny's Child reunion at Beyoncé's Cowboy Carter tour almost broke the internet — but Michelle Williams was worried it would break something else.

In a new solo episode of the podcast *Checking In w/ Record Breakers*, Williams opened up about her (very relatable) concern that she would fall on stage. This is, she explained, largely because she fell on national television back in 2004 when Destiny's Child promoted their final studio album on BET music show *106 & Park*.

"I was trying to stay focused because y'all know I still have trauma from falling on *106 & Park*," she told listeners. "I need y'all to be my therapist about that too, because every time I perform with the girls, it's in my head: 'Do not fall, do not fall, do not fall.'"

To help, Williams said she even enlisted former Destiny's Child stylist Ty Hunter to cut the fringe off the bottom of her pants. Joking that Hunter is "such a butthole at times," she said that Hunter took her request to the head of wardrobe for the Cowboy Carter tour.

"Ty Hunter is like, child, we got to cut these fringes off because we do not want Michelle to fall," she recalled. "I was like, 'Bro, that was between me and you. You didn't have to make no announcement.' But yeah, that's still in my head. Steps do frighten me now."

Michelle Williams calls out Destiny's Child fans for messing up her 'Cater 2 U' bridge: 'I'm sick of it!'

Even still, because of that fear, she said she rehearsed the steps for the Destiny's Child reunion between her and former bandmates Kelly Rowland and Beyoncé, but she still let it get inside her head.

"Did I rehearse them steps? Sure did," she said. "And then when it came to I was like, oh my gosh, you dummy. You let fear or lack of trust [in] on that first step, because y'all, I was like, I'm not gonna let social media do me. I'm not. Because if that were to happen, and I fell, I would not be able to live that down for the next 20 years. So that's probably the only thing I didn't like, was that I didn't trust the steps."

The reunion in question happened July 26, replacing the dancers ballroom dance solos at Bey's closing night performance at Las Vegas' Allegiant Stadium. The singer disappeared beneath the stage as "Independent Woman" blasted over the speakers. When she reemerged, fans were shocked to see a silhoutte of Beyoncé with Williams and Rowland on each side, striking a Charlie's Angels pose.

"Destiny's Child, bitch," Queen Bey told the crowd as they strutted down the walkway. Together, the group then performed their 2005 hit "Lose My Breath." Rowland and Williams also stuck around to help Bey out with her *Renaissance* song "Energy." The trio also performed their 2001 anthem "Bootylicious."

Her fear of falling aside, Williams said she ultimately loved the experience and had no regrets. "We turned into little girls again, them teenage girls, those younger girls who just wanted to sing, dance and travel the world. And Beyoncé was like, 'Y'all, let's have fun. We just gonna go out here and have fun. Whatever happens happens, but we're gonna have fun.'"

She continued, "I knew we were gonna have fun. We always have fun. But when you come from Destiny's Child, and then when you see the level of excellence that Beyoncé performs at, you step it up, right?"

The onstage reunion between the trio was the first to occur since Beyoncé brought the ladies out for her 2018 Coachella performance, in which they sang several of their beloved hits.

- Gary Busey pleaded guilty to one count of fourth-degree criminal sexual contact in New Jersey.

- Four other charges from a horror convention were dropped as the result of a plea agreement.

- Busey appeared confused by the proceedings and at one point asked "Am I pleading guilty?"**

Gary Busey has pleaded guilty to criminal sexual contact in New Jersey.

The *Buddy Holly Story* star appeared at a Zoom hearing with Judge Gwendolyn Blue on Thursday, and pleaded guilty to one count of fourth-degree criminal sexual contact following an incident with a female fan at the Monster-Mania Convention in August 2022. Three other counts of criminal sexual contact and an additional count of attempted criminal sexual contact from other accusers were ultimately dismissed as the result of a plea agreement.

Busey's defense attorney, Blair Zwillman, tells ** that the actor is relieved to have entered his plea. "He's glad it's over, he's glad the judge was able to do it remotely," Zwillman says. "He acknowledged it, four counts were dismissed, and wants to move on with his life."

The hearing saw a number of hiccups, however, as the virtual courtroom caused several miscommunications between the judge and Busey's team. Early in the proceedings (which can be partially viewed on video captured by Court TV), Busey could be seen drinking out of a Coca-Cola can, which prompted a warning from the judge.

"Although we are Zoom, you can't eat or drink in my courtroom," Judge Blue told the *Predator 2* star. "You're before a judge, and when you're before a judge, you act accordingly. No eating and no drinking in my presence."

Busey also appeared confused by the judge's instructions. "It is my understanding you wish to plead guilty to a fourth-degree criminal sexual contact. Is that correct?" Judge Blue asked.

"Am I pleading guilty?" Busey asked in response as he looked away from the camera.

"Yes," the judge responded.

Busey shot back, "No," before a woman's voice from his screen could be heard correcting him to say "Yes."

The actor then said, "I am? Okay, I am."

Judge Blue then asked Busey several more questions to ensure that he understood the proceedings and that he was voluntarily pleading guilty to the single charge of fourth-degree criminal sexual contact. "I don't want anyone to tell you what to say. You need to say it on your own, sir," she told the actor before he reiterated his guilty plea.

Zwillman explains the confusion to EW. "He has a hearing aid, and at some points it seems to have not been working," he says. "So there were some hearing problems, and his ex-wife was in the room with him."

In the video of the proceedings, Busey's lawyer asked the actor to confirm the facts of the charge, which came from a fan with the initials AD who said the actor touched her during a photo op. "You inappropriately touched the buttocks of an adult female over her clothing," Zwillman said to his client. "You understand now and you knew then that that was not appropriate, it was wrong, correct?"

Busey responded, "Yes, very much so. Immediately, yes."

The attorney asked, "And you want Judge Blue to accept your acknowledgement of this particular incident. Is that right?"

Busey confirmed, "Yes, sir, it is the truth."

Later, the judge told Zwillman that "there's something missing" from an official document. "You need to fill in the record more as to what his purpose was when he touched her buttocks," she told the lawyer.

Zwillman then asked his client, "You understand that it's only a violation of the law that you could plead guilty to if you intended to gratify yourself by committing that act. I've told you that, correct?"

Busey appeared confused again. "Correct what?"

Zwillman repeated, "The touching of the buttocks was done for your gratification?"

Busey disagreed. "No, I was looking, my eyes were on the camera lens. I moved my hands up and grazed her buttocks without thinking and without looking," he said.

Judge Blue was dissatisfied with this exchange. "That's not a factual basis. That's not a guilty plea," she said.

"Mr. Busey, I've advised you, and we agreed earlier that in order to plead guilty, you have to truthfully acknowledge that you did this for your own gratification as opposed to any request by AD, is that correct?" Zwillman asked.

"I truthfully acknowledge that that happened, yes," the actor clarified.

Judge Blue then asked, "So this was not an accidental touching. You purposely touched her. Is that correct sir?"

Busey confirmed, "Yeah."

Busey is scheduled to receive his sentence on Sept. 18.

Zwillman plans to argue that his client should only have to pay fines and not be sentenced to probation. "I think he may have been charged with criminal sexual contact because of his status," the lawyer tells EW. "Hopefully this is not gonna stain an otherwise remarkable acting career."**
