Jeremiah Smith sets record for receiving yards at Ohio StateMark Russell, Ohio State has a new all-time leader in receiving yards. Jeremiah Smith vaulted to the top of the record books with a 23-yard reception from quarterback Julian Sayin early in the first quarter against Kent State. Smith passed Buckeye great Michael Jenkins, who set the previous mark with a career total of 2,898 yards. While that's an impressive total, it took Jenkins four years to achieve that mark.
