The flashy girl from Flushing is back with some old friends.

Fran Drescher reunited with her *The Nanny* costar Charles Shaughnessy, who played her love interest Maxwell Sheffield on the CBS sitcom, and several of the show's executive producers.

"Out 4 sup w/ mr sheffield and the EPs of *The Nanny*," Drescher wrote in an Instagram caption on Friday. "A gr8 nite indeed!"

Drescher's photo showed the actress seated at dinner near Shaughnessy and Peter Marc Jacobson, her ex-husband, who also co-created *The Nanny* and served as its showrunner. Also at the table were executive producers Robert Sternin, Prudence Fraser, and Diane Wilk.

Shaughnessy shared the same photo on his Instagram. "Getting the band back together….?!" he wrote in his caption. "A great night out with Susan and *The Nanny* gang!!"

Drescher and Shaughnessy costarred on all six seasons of *The Nanny* from 1993 to 1999. The show followed Fran Fine (Drescher), a trendy Jewish woman who becomes the caretaker for the three children of a Broadway producer (Shaughnessy).

The actress, who also executive-produced the second half of the series, teased a reunion and possible revival of it in 2023.

"We were in conversations with Sony, our parent company, to figure out what we could do that would be fun and exciting for the fans to tune into," Drescher said ahead of the show's 30th anniversary.

"We don't really know, but we have a lot of options on the table, and we're kind of open to all of them," she added, "and everything else, you know, will kind of take a back burner to this right now because there's only one 30th anniversary. And the show, you know, is the gift that keeps on giving and has tremendous longevity."

The *Nanny* reunion dinner seemingly occurred on Thursday, which was the final night of Drescher's tenure as the president of SAG-AFTRA after she served two two-year terms. *The Goonies* and *The Lord of the Rings* star Sean Astin took over the position on Friday after his electoral victory was confirmed that same day.

Drescher endorsed Astin's candidacy for the role last month, and the actor ultimately received more than 79 percent of the vote.

"If you're a SAG-AFTRA member like me, your best vote for national President is fellow actor Sean Astin," she wrote on Instagram. "This dude has got the creds to rep us all with heart, brains & experience. I've known him since he was 10, and he really cares and has true character. In my humble opinion he is the ONLY candidate to vote for."

Drescher recently reprised her role from *This Is Spinal Tap* in the long-awaited sequel *Spinal Tap II: The End Continues*, which hit theaters on Friday. She'll next appear in Josh Safdie's 2025 table tennis dramedy, *Marty Supreme*, which also stars Timothée Chalamet and Gwyneth Paltrow. That film is set to land in theaters on Christmas Day.**
