- Jimmy Kimmel's second monologue since returning from suspension went in on Donald Trump.
- Kimmel compared the "bully," he said, to the character Biff from *Back to the Future*.**
- "I don't know about you, I'm with Marty McFly," Kimmel said to applause from the audience.
Jimmy Kimmel isn't letting up on criticism for Donald Trump, as the talk show host compared the president to a key character from *Back to the Future* in his second monologue after returning from his temporary suspension.
Wednesday's *Jimmy Kimmel Live* kicked off with Kimmel pointing out that his still isn't on the air in cities like Seattle, Washington, D.C., Nashville, Tenn., and New Orleans due to ABC affiliate boycotts. Still, he didn't relent when it came to firing back at Trump's public statements about him — including one in which he called ABC "fake news" and expressed shock that the network "gave Jimmy Kimmel his job back," as Kimmel said on the air.
"You can't believe they gave me my job back?" Kimmel asked. "I can't believe we gave *you* your job back."**

The audience applauded as Kimmel continued with his monologue, later touching on Trump's recent antics with which he took issue.
"No one wants to face Donald Trump in court. That's where he's at his most flatulent," he said, referencing allegations that he farted during his 2024 hush honey trial.
"He's a bully, I don't like bullies," Kimmel later said. "Donald Trump is an old-fashioned '80s movie-style bully taking your lunch money. If you give it to him once, he'll take it again. Two things he loves? Lunch and money."

He joked, "He'll grab you by your nipples and he'll twist them until you have two holes in your Le Tigre shirt because your parents couldn't afford an Izod."
Kimmel then built toward a familiar pop culture comparison.
"Rooting for this bully — I don't care what side you're on — it's like rooting for Biff from *Back to the Future,*" Kimmel observed.*"*Literally, Donald Trump was the model for Biff in *Back to the Future*, and this is who people are cheering for? I don't know about you, I'm with Marty McFly."
"Responding to Jimmy Kimmel's monologue would require me to watch Jimmy Kimmel's monologue, and there are many more productive and entertaining things I could be doing instead — like watching paint dry." Abigail Jackson, White House spokeswoman, said in a statement.
Kimmel's return to the air followed a nearly weeklong suspension after remarks he made about Charlie Kirk's alleged assassin during the Sept. 15 broadcast. On the show, Kimmel said that "the MAGA gang" was "desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them."
In addition to criticism of Kimmel, the White House and other government figures have spoken out against various other pop culture figures in recent months, including the cohosts of *The View* and Rosie O'Donnell.

In July, Federal Communications Commission chair Brendan Carr even speculated that there would be "consequences" for *The View* amid the show's perceived liberal bias, with the White House additionally releasing statements to EW slamming the show's cohosts, particularly Joy Behar and Ana Navarro.**
